#BIO - What is it? & How was it started.
BIO stands for 'By Invite Only' a meet that is exactly what it says on the tin. We invite the maddest retro, rare or classic cars we can find to a secret meet in a secret location, our media team get plenty of photos throughout the night as well as a good chat with everyone in attendance, the meet will then feature in a write up on the Scottish Car Scene website and be shared across our socials, BIO is our way of showing our appreciation to the people that have went the extra distance in preservation or modification.
BIO was first thought of by Chappy around 7 years ago, over the last 7 years we have done a few different style's of event under the #BIO banner, this year we're going all-out with the largest invite only meet we've done yet. Filled with some of the best cars in the UK.
Our aim with #BIO hasn't changed despite the different styles the event has taken throughout the years. We aim to tell the biography of the cars in attendance.
#Bio '24 is looking mental already with over 100 rare, retro and classic cars signed up so far.

A properly chilled out event with like-minded car enthusiasts, our photographers will be out snapping shots all night, giving you a high chance of being featured in some of our upcoming articles.
Why is it invite only?
Being invite only gives us a chance to get a more focused look at some of the countries coolest projects or best kept examples, it is not about locking people out, we hold plenty of other meets that everyone is welcome to attend.
